Vinyl’s comeback just got smaller. A company by the name of Tiny Vinyl is offering 4-inch records that hold up to four minutes of music per side, with releases from Black Sabbath, Ghost, Chappell Roan, Frank Sinatra, and The Rolling Stones.
Each Tiny Vinyl plays at 33 RPM on a standard turntable and uses only a tenth of the material required for a traditional 12-inch record. But don’t be fooled by the size — these records are fully functional, complete with authentic jackets, cover art, and limited-edition numbering.
Co-founders Neil Kohler and Jesse Mann saw an opportunity to blend the growing vinyl resurgence with the booming interest in miniature collectibles. In a statement to Billboard the pair said, “We created Tiny Vinyl to reward fans with an adorable, collectible, and playable miniature vinyl record.”

In addition to trends in vinyl and mini collectibles, the pair pointed to a third factor working in their favor: “Hit songs are getting shorter. We knew our vinyl format needed to accommodate the vast majority of popular music — and fortunately, most tracks were trending under four minutes.”
Early titles include “Paranoid” by Black Sabbath, “Pink Pony Club” by Chappell Roan, and “Lachryma” by Ghost, along with dozens of others.
