Holiday Gift Ideas: Signature Guitars from Iron Maiden, Kirk Hammett, Johnny Marr, and Noel Gallagher

A guitar is a classic holiday gift, but why not make the moment all the more awe-inspiring by upgrading this often life-changing gift to an artist signature model?

If you know the kind of music your guitar-player-in-mind enjoys or wants to play, signature models feature specific attributes and appointments that are defined by the artist in question. For example, the guitars in Iron Maiden‘s new collection of Fender signature models are designed to play metal, and certain parts and build choices make these particular instruments conducive to doing so. In short: perfect guitars for a metal musician.

Here, we highlight a few of our favorite signature models of 2025 that are still available for a last-minute holiday purchase:

  • The aforementioned Iron Maiden Collection from Fender honors the British metal legends with signature models axes for guitarists Dave Murray and Janick Gers, as well as bassist Steve Harris. The band’s Fender ties run deep, with Murray substantiating the Stratocaster a viable “metal guitar,” while Harris has famously wielded a Precision Bass since the beginning. These models are faithful to the instruments played by the band to this day, and any Iron Maiden fan would be absolutely ecstatic to see one of these under the tree. Ranging from $1,419.99 to $1,799.99, you can buy one here.
