Chris Evans to Voice Buzz Lightyear in New Pixar Movie
Chris Evans is going to infinity and beyond as the voice of Buzz Lightyear in a new Pixar film called simply Lightyear. News of the upcoming sort of spin-off was announced during Thursday’s Disney Investors Day presentation. But Evans isn’t technically replacing Tim Allen, who voiced the beloved Space Ranger in the Toy Story films. Instead, think of Lightyear as “the movie within the movie,” as it will be the imagined adventure on which Andy’s favorite action figure was based. Thom Yorke, Burial, and Four Tet Team Up for New Collaborative Single [Updated]
Thom Yorke has teamed up with Burial and Four Tet for a new limited-edition 12-inch single. The black vinyl contains two tracks — “Her Revolution” and “His Rope” — and went for sale Tuesday (December 2nd) at London record stores Phonica and Sounds of the Universe. News of the surprise release was first revealed by the record stores on their respective social media channels, and subsequently confirmed by Yorke via a retweet. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood have chosen BMG to collect the royalties due when their recordings are played on TV and radio around the world, so-called neighboring rights. BMG will also continue to represent Jagger and Richards‘s music publishing interests. The deal to represent the four members of THE ROLLING STONES comes just six months after BMG announced the launch of its boutique neighboring rights service. It coincides with a new extension of BMG‘s long-term deal to represent the music publishing rights of Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.
