Her last solo full-length record dates back to 2020’s Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios) ∞, which received a GRAMMY nom...

Pearl Jam Kicks Off Fall Tour With Gigaton-Heavy Set in Quebec

On the heels of a summer European tour plagued by Eddie Vedder’s vocal issues that forced three cancellations, Pearl Jam got back to business tonight (Sept. 1) at the Centre Vidéotron in Quebec City, Quebec, on the opening night of its fall North American run. The group opened with “Daughter” for the first time since 2010 and proceeded to play four more downtempo acoustic songs in a row at the outset, including just the fourth-ever performance of the Jeff Ament-penned Riot Act-era B-side “Other Side” (its first airing since 2018). The set featured five songs from the 2020 album Gigaton, which Pearl Jam is ostensibly still touring behind after numerous COVID-19 postponements upended the original plans to support it around its release date. It also included classics such as “Even Flow,” “Do ...

The second installment of a trilogy, following 2015’s The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi follows Rey as she seeks the aid of Luke Skywalker in strengthening the Resistance forces in their ongoing battle against the First Order, a movement that seeks to place the galaxy under a military-style dictatorship. Five years on from The Last Jedi’s debut, Johnson, who wrote the movie in addition to directing, is reflecting on his contribution to the Star Wars legacy. “I’m even more proud of it five years on,” Johnson said in a recent interview with Empire. “When I was up at bat, I really swung at the ball.” ...

Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears Accused of Child Sexual Abuse

Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears have been accused of child sexual abuse in a new lawsuit that claims the comedians forced minors to perform sexually suggestive acts for sketch videos. As The Daily Beast reports, a Jane Doe has filed the suit on behalf of herself and her younger brother. In the suit, Jane, now 22, and her brother, now 14, recount their mother making friends with Haddish through mutual comedy circles and Haddish presenting the children with work opportunities. However, the videos the children recorded with the comedians were inappropriate. In the summer of 2013, when Jane was 14, Haddish allegedly enlisted the child to record a commercial that Spears was producing. When she got to the shoot, Haddish and Spears showed her a video of kids eating a sub sandwich in a sugge...

Florida Georgia Line Play Final Show Following Inner-Band Feud Over Trump

After announcing a hiatus earlier this year, country duo Florida Georgia Line played their last show together at the Minnesota State Fair on Thursday (August 31st). Tyler Hubbard confirmed he and Brian Kelley were “taking a break” in February, but breakup rumors have followed Florida Georgia Line since 2020, when the artists had a rather public disagreement regarding the election. While Hubbard had been a vocal critic of President Trump, and his wife, Hayley, posted her support of Vice President Kamala Harris, Kelley swung in the other direction, hinting at his support of the outgoing president. Eventually, Hubbard and his wife unfollowed Kelley on Instagram altogether, with Hubbard confirming that he simply didn’t want to see Kelley’s posts about Trump. “I unfollowed BK for a few days whi...
