Frank Grillo Slams “Out-of-Control Crime” in Los Angeles Following Trainer’s Homicide
Frank Grillo has a few words to say about crime in Los Angeles after his boxing trainer Azuma Bennett was shot and killed outside a legal marijuana dispensary last week. The actor, known for his role as Brock “Crossbones” Rumlow in a number of Marvel films, said the incident marks an example of “out-of-control crime” in the city. “I don’t know what’s happened to Los Angeles that a beautiful guy like this gets shot and killed over nothing,” Grillo told KNBC, explaining that Bennett “made everybody feel good about training.” Bennett worked at Fortune Boxing Gym, which in addition to Hollywood actors, hosted famous fighters like Manny Pacquiao. ‘Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic’ Remake Reportedly Lands at New Developer
New reports suggest that the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake has now landed at another developer. The game was originally handled by Aspyr Media, which decided to delay it indefinitely back in July following the forced departures of two of the studio’s directors. Bloomberg was first to break the news at the time and has now updated with the report that Knights of the Old Republic will shift over to Saber Interactive instead, as both Aspyr and Saber are owned by parent company Embracer Group. “One of the Group’s AAA projects has transitioned to another studio within the Group,” Embracer wrote in its earnings report earlier last week. “This was done to ensure the quality bar is where we need it to be for the title. ‘House of the Dragon’ Records Biggest HBO Series Premiere Ever
After months of anticipation, HBO officially aired the first episode of Game of Thrones spinoff House of the Dragon on Sunday night. Despite some technical issues with fans watching through Amazon Fire Stick, the network reports that the series premiere was its biggest of all time, recording 9.986 million viewers across linear airings and HBO Max streams on opening night in the US alone. HBO notes that the Sunday night viewership numbers typically represent 20 to 40 percent of the gross audience, leaving room for bigger totals to come.
