Nicholas Hoult and Anya Taylor-Joy star as a wealthy couple in the trailer for Searchlight Pictures’ upcoming film, The Menu. The couple is ready for a lavish evening out at an ultra-exclusive restaurant. After being ferried to dinner via private boat, they’re sat down with ten other guests, ready to dig into the creations of the mysterious Chef Slowik (Ralph Fiennes). “He’s not just a chef. He’s a storyteller,” Hoult tells Taylor-Joy. “The game is trying to guess what the overarching theme of the entire meal is going to be. You won’t know until the end.” While the meal is intended to function as a puzzle, where guests have to try to figure out its theme before the night’s over, it quickly takes a dark turn and leaves Hoult and Taylor-Joy fighting for their lives. After guests are shocked ...
Beavis and Butt-Head try to track down some chicks but prove to be quite the catch themselves in an exclusive new clip from Mike Judge’s Beavis and Butt-Head. The third episode of the revived series premieres tomorrow, August 11th on Paramount+, but to hold you over, you can check out 80 seconds of pure silliness below. The clip opens with everyone’s favorite butt munchers paddling down the river like Huck Finn (more like, ‘Suck my Finn,’ heh heh heh). Beavis is feeling a little snackish, and luckily he spots a tasty treat: a gummy worm, or so he thinks. What follows is a classic bit of slapstick that wouldn’t have been out of place in golden age silent movie. Check it out after the jump. So far, the revived series has been a mix of old pleasures and new surprises, including Beavis’ e...
Artist of the Month is an accolade bestowed upon an up-and-coming musician or group who is poised for the big time. For August 2022, we interview singer and songwriter Raffaella about her brand new mini album, LIVE, RAFF, LOVE (Act I). Upon entering Raffaella’s childhood home in New York City last weekend, a few things stand out to me: The walls are covered nearly inch-to-inch with both art and musical instruments, signed photographs and records decorate the hallways, and the busied look of the apartment feels quintessentially New York. Today, however, Raffaella is merely a visitor in her old abode — and she’s brought an exciting and radiant new collection of songs home with her. This Friday (August 12th), Raffaella — who is Consequence‘s August Artist of the Month — will release her ...

The only thing anyone seemed to know going into last night’s epic South Park birthday bash at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheater was that it was going to be wild and weird. In honor of the show’s 25th anniversary, the show’s creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone brought funk-metal band Primus and Ween together for two sold-out nights of comedy, mayhem, and singalongs. They led a rousing “Uncle F**ka,” backed by both bands. The stage was adorned with cutouts of snowy South Park trees, instruments, a few lawn chairs, and a cooler. Even Les Claypool seemed amused. “What the hell is goin’ on here, man” the Primus bassist asked at some point later on. That was the vibe of the night. Throughout the show, Primus and Ween, plus Parker and Stone, traded performing and sitting onstage to watch their ol...

SWARM has taken up arms and is ready to face his demons—both internal and external. Known for his ability to cross genres while making dramatic music that should really be considered for the sequel to Elden Ring, SWARM has returned with one of his most powerful releases to date. Released today was “Say Goodbye,” a vivid track that displays SWARM’s ability to overcome any obstacle in his path. A gentle twinkling opens the track as the morning dew forms over the battlefield. Gritty, scowling vocals and the sounds of sharpening blades drive the arrangement forward before distorted bass prepares the attack. Increasing the tempo, SWARM unsheathes his sword and dives into a huge drop filled with seismic bass and fierce metalcore vocals. After a moment to regain his st...
