Megan Thee Stallion has teamed up with Future for her newest single, “Pressurelicious.” Clocking in at just under three minutes, the cut is produced by HitKidd and hears both artists celebrating strong and confident women from two different perspectives — Megan as the woman and Future as a loving and supportive partner who does not feel emasculated. “Pressurelicious” marks the Houston Hottie’s third release of 2022, following “Plan B” in April and the Dua Lipa collab “Sweetest Pie” in March. In her recent Rolling Stone cover story, Megan revealed that Future is one of her favorite rappers. “He just so f*cking ratchet!” she said. “He is unapologetically himself. I appreciate that about anybody who gets up and has to do anything in the public eye. Anybody who has to read about their lif...

Just a week ago, Netflix announced a new partnership with Microsoft to provide more affordable ad-supported tiers to its viewers, but it now turns out that the cheaper subscription tier won’t actually give you access to the streaming platform’s entire library. According to a new report from Deadline, Netflix‘s co-CEO and chief content officer Ted Sarandos confirmed that while Netflix Originals will all be available, third-party films and shows may not be available for those in the ad-supported tier due to licensing issues. “Today, the vast majority of what people watch on Netflix, we can include in the ad-supported tier,” Sarandos first reassured before going into the less pleasant news. “There’s some things that don’t and we’re in conversations with the studios on, but if we launched...
Since WandaVision debut in January 2021, Marvel has released 13 TV series and feature films in the past 18 months. The studio shows no signs of stopping when it comes to its MCU releases. Those include She-Hulk: Attorney At Law and I Am Groot. TV Line has also reported and confirmed that the streaming platform is set to release at least five new series. Down the MCU pipeline, fans can expect Secret Invastion, Loki Season 2, Ironheart, Echo and Agatha: House of Harkness to arrive on the streamer by the end of 2023. Others have not yet been announced, but it is said that additional announcements will be made throughout the ...
Warner Bros. on Thursday shared the second official trailer for Olivia Wilde‘s sophomore directorial effort Don’t Worry Darling, starring Florence Pugh and Harry Styles. In the latest look at the film, Pugh’s Alice and her partner Jack (Styles) appear to be living a satisfactory life in the experimental utopia of Victory, a company town housing the men who are working on the top-secret Victory Project that promises to change the world. As the preview progresses, however, Alice starts to question the company’s morality, but her attempts to convince other Victory residents of the organization’s seemingly ill will prove to be unsuccessful. Dealing with persistent nightmares and spiraling out of control, Alice tearfully pleads, “They’re lying about everything!” And later, the trailer teases an...

Flume is living the post-Palaces good life, enjoying the comedown of yet another critically acclaimed album release. He’s hanging out with his dog, surfing as much as possible, and living off-grid in a house with its own solar panel and water tank, according to a recent interview with NME. Oh, and he’s also sitting on “a full album’s worth of house music” just waiting to be finished off, he revealed. Flume also implied that the unreleased cuts are leftovers from when he was developing the creative vision for Palaces. “I mean I’ve got a full album’s worth of house music that’s just sitting there that I just need to finish off,” Flume said. “I’ve got loads of demos, some of them have got strong parts for sure. Some of ...
Beyoncé has revealed the collaborators and tracklist for her seventh studio album, which is said to be heavily influenced by electronic music. So it should come as no surprise that Skrillex has been confirmed to appear on Renaissance. Skrillex will appear on the album’s fifth track, “Energy,” alongside frequent collaborator BEAM and The Neptunes’ Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo, among others. The iconic “Bangarang” producer is one of a number of electronic music artists to appear on Renaissance, joining Honey Dijon, A.G. Cook, Nile Rodgers and more. It’s also worth noting that the final track, “Summer Renaissance,” will sample music by the legendary electronic music producer and Daft Punk collaborator Giorgio M...
“I learned my lesson. I’m never going to write for less-than-perfect women ever again; less-than-likable [women].” That’s a quote from Breaking Bad creator and Better Call Saul co-creator Vince Gilligan way back in 2014 during that summer’s Television Critics Association press tour. He said it before the public had seen as much of a second of the then-much-anticipated prequel to his Emmy-winning drama about a high school chemistry teacher (Bryan Cranston’s Walter White) who creates the finest methamphetamine Albuquerque, New Mexico, has ever seen. Said in his trademark folksy “Aw shucks, y’all” Virginia twang, Gilligan’s comment was meant to be read as sarcasm. It was a rebuttal against a misogynistic subset of Breaking Bad fans who had decided that the true villain of that marvelous show ...
HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Volition Games / Saints Row Hip-Hop Wired’s resident gamer Bernard “Beanz” Smalls had the opportunity to get hands-on with Volition Games’ Saints Row reboot and left feeling optimistic. Volition pulled out all the stops for us, turning the Thunderbird Hotel in Las Vegas into a carbon copy location from Santo Ileso, the fictional midwestern city from Saints Row. It also helped the hotel lives in the not-so-glitzy part of the city of the sin, so the game studio didn’t have to do much to recreate the feel of the video game’s fictional locale. Related Stories Moving on, the real reason we hit Las Vegas was to get hands-on with the highly anticipated game finally, and I had four hours to get some impressions on Saints Row, and I left honestly wanting to play m...
