Travis Barker says he is “currently much better” after being hospitalized this week with “severe life-threatening pancreatitis.” The Blink-182 drummer provided an update on his medical condition in a social media post on Saturday (July 2nd). As he explained, “I went in for an endoscopy Monday feeling great. Ricky Martin Slapped with Restraining Order in Puerto Rico
A Puerto Rican judge has issued a restraining order against Ricky Martin. According to local media reports (via the Associated Press), an individual who dated Martin sought the restraining order after the pop singer refused to accept their breakup and was found loitering outside of their home on three different occasions. The restraining order was reportedly filed under Puerto Rico’s domestic violence law. A court hearing on the matter is reportedly scheduled for July 21st. Until then, Martin is prohibited from contacting the individual who filed the complaint. Legendary house music artist Marshall Jefferson has launched a lawsuit against Kanye West on the basis of alleged copyright infringement. The complaint, filed in New York’s U.S. District Court, alleges West sampled Jefferson’s 1986 song “Move Your Body” without licensed permission. After producing under the alias Virgo, it was the first track of Jefferson’s career he had released under his own name.
