New ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ Teaser Clip Pinpoints When Jane Foster Claims Mjolnir From Thor
A new teaser clip of Marvel‘s upcoming film, Thor: Love and Thunder was recently released at the MTV Movie & TV Awards. The clip extends an interaction between Jane Foster and Thor that was seen in the official trailer. The clip spotlighted a pivotal moment between exes Thor and Jane, giving audiences additional context of the first meeting between Jane’s Mighty Thor and Thor. While Thor appears to be busy looking for his hammer Mjolnir, which was famously destroyed in Ragnarok by his sister Hela, Thor becomes very close to reuniting with it until Jane appears to wield Mjolnir. Marvel has announced the official release date for adorable animated series I Am Groot. The series follows a Baby Groot in his glory days as he grows up and gets into trouble among the stars. The series arrives on Disney+ later this summer and was announced on the Marvel Studios’ Twitter. The official movie poster showcased Baby Groot listening to music, leaning and chilling on a Walkman. With a drink by its side and a lamp light to resemble the sun and a paper cut-out palm tree, Baby Groot is in ultimate relaxation mode. Paul Vance, the songwriter behind “Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini,” has died. He was 92 years old. Vance was born Joseph Paul Florio in Brooklyn, New York on November 4th, 1929. His career as a hit songwriter began in the famous Brill Building, where he partnered with Lee Pockriss to write more than 300 songs like Perry Como’s “Catch a Falling Star” in 1957 and Brian Hyland’s “Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini” in 1960 — both of which became No. 1 hits of the bubblegum pop era. (As he explained in a 2018 interview with the Palm Beach Post, Vance came up with the idea for the sing-song swimsuit-themed single after his nine-year-old daughter Paula was too shy to wear a bikini in public.) Atlanta rapper Trouble was shot and killed outside of an apartment complex in Conyers, Georgia on Sunday, June 5th. He was 34 years old. The Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office told WSB-TV Atlanta that Trouble (born Mariel Semonte Orr) was shot around 3:20 a.m. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
