Sony‘s PlayStation VR2 headset will arrive with over 20 “major” first-party and third-party games at launch, according to a company business segment presentation. Drummer Alan White, who spent 50 years behind the kit for UK progressive rock icons Yes and also appeared on legendary post-Beatles recordings with John Lennon and George Harrison, died today (May 26) at the age of 72 in his Seattle-area home after a brief illness. White had been planning to join Yes on an upcoming British tour, but the group announced last weekend that he would miss the shows “due to current health issues” and would be replaced by his friend Jay Schellen. White joined Yes in 1972 and remained in the band ever since. Andy Fletcher, Depeche Mode Keyboardist, Dies at 60
Depeche Mode co-founder and keyboardist Andy Fletcher has died at the age of 60, according to a post on the legendary U.K. band’s Twitter account. No cause of death has been revealed. “Fletch had a true heart of gold and was always there when you needed support, a lively conversation, a good laugh or a cold pint,” they wrote. “Our hearts are with his family.” The roots of Depeche Mode date back to the late 1970s, when Fletcher and friend Vince Clarke played in a band called No Romance In China. They eventually drafted Martin Gore and created a new group, Composition Of Sound, before vocalist Dave Gahan joined and the name Depeche Mode was adopted.
