For 2024, "brain rot" comes out on top as becoming a worldwide public discussion after much analysis Oxford Press's language date.According to the dictionary, brain rot is a noun and defined as, "Supposed deterioration of a person’s mental or intellectual state, especially viewed as a result of overconsumption of material (now particularly online content) considered to be trivial or unchallenging. Disney's Moana 2 has taken a the crown with a Thanksgiving box office record. The Polynesian animated film recorded a $221 million USD debut over the course of the five-day holiday frame. Moana 2 breaks the previous record set by 2019's Frozen II which had a $125 million USD debut and 2013's Hunger Games: Catching Fire at $109 million USD. This marks the largest five-day debut in history, also overtaking Universal's The Super Mario Bros. Movie behemoth in 2023. The three-day tally also marks the best start for Walt Disney Animation.
