Charlie Hunnam is set to portray murderer and body snatcher Ed Gein in the third season of Ryan Murphy's Netflix anthology series, Monster.The news was announced during the Los Angeles premiere of Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story — the second season following DAHMER. Hunnam's role, Gein, was also known under the names the Butcher of Plainfield and the Plainfield Ghoul as he terrorized his hometown of Plainfield, Wisconsin between 1947 and 1957.
