Pa Salieu has been released from prison after serving 21 months of a 33-month sentence, Pitchfork reported first. The British-Gambian rapper was jailed in 2022 for an incident that had occurred back in 2018, in which Salieu was found to have attacked a man with a glass bottle.The fight occurred after Salieu’s friend Fidel Glasgow, grandson of The Specials singer Neville Staple, was stabbed outside of a nightclub. Salieu, who was 21 at the time, admitted to violent disorder but argued that he was defending himself.Salieu had separately been convicted of carrying a knife three years earlier.
