As much as we hoped we could hold onto warm summer days, its clear that there’s no stopping the arrival of cooler weather. As someone that’s always cold, I know that as soon as we drop a degree, I’ll be layering up. So naturally, I’ve been spending the last few days working out how I can stay cosy and warm, all the while maintaining a stylish aesthetic. & Other Stories’ turtleneck knit has that beautifully luxe weight to it that you don’t often find on the high street, with a thick weave and gradual stripes that make it surprisingly flattering. There’s a clear pattern across all of these pieces, and it’s that they look way more expensive than their high street origins would suggest. Like,‘they wouldn’t look out of place on a catwalk’ kind of expensive. Mango’s beautiful new faux-shearling jacket clearly fits the bill, then— with its elevated design, contrasting faux-leather trims and toggle button fastenings.
