Apple TV unveiled the debut teaser for its upcoming cyberpunk series ‘Neuromancer’ at San Diego Comic-Con

Executive produced by Drake, the 10-episode adaptation stars Callum Turner as damaged super-hacker Case

Based on William Gibson’s iconic 1984 sci-fi novel, the series premieres globally on January 22

Apple TV and executive producer Drake have officially unveiled the first teaser for Neuromancer during San Diego Comic-Con. The 10-episode cyberpunk series adapts William Gibson’s foundational 1984 science-fiction novel, with BAFTA winner Callum Turner starring in the lead role of Case.

Unveiled following a surprise video appearance by Turner during Apple TV’s Hall H panel, the adaptation follows Case, a damaged, top-rung super-hacker thrust into a web of digital espionage and high-stakes crime. Teaming up with razor-girl assassin Molly (Briana Middleton), Case attempts to execute a perilous heist against a corporate dynasty guarding untold secrets.

Created by Graham Roland and JD Dillard, the series is produced by Paramount Television Studios and Anonymous Content alongside Drake’s DreamCrew Entertainment, with Roland serving as showrunner and Dillard directing the first three episodes. The ensemble cast features Mark Strong, Joseph Lee, Peter Sarsgaard, Clémence Poésy, Max Irons, Dane DeHaan, Junia Rees, Jordan Kouamé, Emma Laird, Marc Menchaca, André De Shields, and Isabella Pappas. Executive producers include Aubrey “Drake” Graham, Adel “Future” Nur, Jason Shrier, David Levine, Garrett Kemble, Zack Hayden, Jennifer Haley, and original author William Gibson.

Neuromancer premieres globally on January 22 on Apple TV.
