Gunther Werks, known for its specialization in restoring and modifying the Porsche 993 generation of the 911, has announced a significant expansion. The California-based company is making its way to the East Coast, with its very first showroom in the region opening up in Miami as part of a partnership with Prestige Imports.
Notably, Prestige Imports, with a legacy spanning over four decades, is known for playing a significant role in shaping South Florida’s luxury car scene. Their partnership with Gunther Werks is set to elevate the exotic car experience, providing a new dimension of bespoke luxury to its clients and in turn a new client base for Gunther Werks.
The Miami showroom will feature Gunther Werks’ array of limited-edition Porsche 911 restorations, including the newly unveiled 750-hp Touring Turbo Edition Coupe. Based on the classic Porsche 993 generation, the vehicle boasts a 4.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine and a six-speed manual transmission. As for style, its iconic ducktail rear spoiler and extensive carbon fiber bodywork reflect a perfect blend of classic design and modern engineering.
Speaking on the partnership, Brett David, the CEO of Prestige Imports shared that “Prestige Imports is pleased to welcome Gunther Werks and act as their showroom here in South Florida. We pride ourselves in offering our clients the absolute finest luxury transportation on the planet,” adding “Gunther Werks is just that. An incredible brand that continues to redefine what is possible in the creation of their truly remarkable automotive designs that provide clients with an irresistible reimagining of what is possible in the high-performance exotic category.”
