The Nigerian music scene has been awesome in 2022 and we have had some of the hottest songs on heavy rotations on our playlist. Nigerian artistes like Rema, Kizz Daniel, Asake, Oxlade, and many others held it down by releasing back-to-back hit singles that made an impact beyond Nigeria.
This year we had some of the biggest tracks like “Calm Down” by Rema, Burna Boy’s “Last Last“, “Overdose” by Mavins, Oxlade with “Ku Lo Sa“, and Pheelz‘s “Finesse” etc. In retrospect, it was a good year for Afrobeats as many new school superstars like Omah Lay and Bella Shmurda dropped their debut albums.
In this post, we want to highlight some of the hottest songs in Nigeria as they trended on Naija Music. For brevity, we would be sharing our top 10 tracks across both secular and gospel music.
