Paris Saint-Germain Charts Its Transformation in New Book

French football club Paris Saint-Germain has launched a new book — titled Off The Pitch — that charts its transformation over the past decade. Covering 2011 to 2021, the book looks at the time since the Qatar Investment Authority and chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi took control over the club.

Over 400 pages, Off The Pitch shows how Paris Saint-Germain has become a global brand away from football, with a particular focus on its fashion collaborations with KOCHÉ and Jordan Brand, as well as its music work with the Rolling Stones and Prince. Additionally, the book includes previously unseen pictures, and words from famous faces who have played a role in its decade-long transformation.

Launching the book, Fabien Allegre, brand director at Paris Saint-Germain, said:

“Today, many other sports brands are following our development strategy, which we initiated ten years ago. We are going to try to maintain this head start, with the vision and flexibility that characterises our work. Part of our work involves discovering new talents. This is what we. Do when we go out — in Paris and in other French regions — to meet craftsmen who offer real expertise and make the best products in their fields.”

Off The Pitch is available now from the Paris Saint-Germain web store, with 75 copies first edition copies also including an original artwork by Rero also available.
