Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian have reportedly broken up after nine months of dating.
A source close to Kardashian told Page Six that “Kim and Pete have decided to just be friends,” adding: “They have a lot of love and respect for each other, but found that the long distance and their demanding schedules made it really difficult to maintain a relationship.”
The source stressed that the breakup had nothing to do with Kardashian’s ex-husband, Kanye West, who repeatedly berated Davidson over the course of his relationship with Kardashian.

Davidson and Kardashian began dating shortly after Kardashian hosted SNL in October 2021. They made their red carpet debut at the White House’s Correspondents Dinner in April of this year, and also appeared together at the Met Gala — to which Kardashian famously wore a Marilyn Monroe dress.
Their romance drew the ire of West, Kardashian’s husband of seven years and the father of her four children. The Donda rapper verbally and physically threatened Davidson by encouraging his fans to publicly harass the SNL comedian and releasing a pair of music videos in which he decapitated, skinned, and buried Davidson alive.
What’s more, due to Kid Cudi’s friendship with Davidson, West ended his creative partnership with his longtime collaborator.
