Like something out of Practical Magic, Megan Fox claims she manifested Machine Gun Kelly as a child. Speaking to Glamour UK for its latest cover story, the actress revisited meeting her now-fiancé on the set of 2021’s Midnight in the Switchgrass — the Bruce Willis crime thriller Kelly has said in the past he only joined as an opportunity to meet Fox. “He says that,” she told the magazine. “And I do believe even the day before, he was trying to basically quit the movie and his best friend, Rook, his drummer, and then also his manager, Ashleigh, were both like, ‘But your scenes are with Megan Fox.’ And he was like, ‘Fuck it! I’ll get on the plane.’” Related Video As for Fox, she confessed she “didn’t know why I was taking the movie. I just knew I needed to do it for some reason.” And i...

Elon Musk may be worth $246 billion, but he still took out loans to finance his $44 billion purchase of Twitter. In order to secure the cash, Reuters reports the mogul pitched banks a multitude of strategies to cut costs and make more money for Twitter, including reducing executive salaries and charging a fee for embedding and quoting tweets. Musk secured $13 billion in loans against Twitter and a $12.5 billion margin loan tied to his Tesla stock. In his proposal to lenders, the businessman argued that Twitter has a lot of room to make more money, pointing to a gross margin that ranks much lower than competitors like Facebook and Pinterest. In order to play catch up, Musk proposed profiting off of Twitter’s penchant for spreading both viral memes and important information by charging third...
The stars of Jackass surely know that their gnarly antics aren’t for everybody, but Steve-O had to learn the hard way that Prince especially wasn’t a fan. On a recent episode of his podcast Steve-O’s Wild Ride!, the stuntman/comedian remembered that Prince was “a dick” and “condescending” to him when the pair first met. While Steve-O is now an easily-recognizable celebrity in his own right, he implied that his encounter with Prince went down in the early 2000s, before Jackass had become a full-blown phenomenon. On the podcast, Steve-O recalled a go-to party trick he’d often use during this era to impress A-listers, which involved balancing a cup on his head, then drinking the liquid inside without using his hands. “I met Prince one time,” Steve-O told the episode’s guest, Cheech ...
Since her “Sour World Tour” first kicked off earlier this month, Olivia Rodrigo has been honoring her grunge-pop forebear Avril Lavigne by performing a cover of the latter’s 2002 hit “Complicated” each night. Finally, in a glorious full-circle moment, Lavigne joined Rodrigo onstage in Toronto last night to duet the song together. Before inviting her to the stage, Rodrigo described Lavigne as someone “who broke down so many barriers, and opened so many doors for girls like me.” Rodrigo continued: “I can’t sing her praises enough. She’s from Canada, and I’m so, so, so lucky because she came here tonight to sing with me.” Judging by the instant uproar of applause, those were the only clues the audience needed to figure out who the special guest was. Both donning plaid miniskirts and platform ...
Production on Aziz Ansari’s directorial debut, Being Mortal, has been suspended after a complaint was made against Bill Murray for inappropriate behavior. Searchlight Pictures announced the decision last week, and Murray himself addressed the complaint during an interview with CNBC on Saturday. “I had a difference of opinion with a woman I’m working with. I did something I thought was funny, and it wasn’t taken that way,” Murray explained. “The company, the movie studio, wanted to do the right thing, so they wanted to check it all out, investigate it. and so they stopped the production.” “But as of now, we’re talking and we’re trying to make peace with each other,” Murray continued. “I think that’s where the real issue is, between our peace. We’re both professionals. We like each other’s w...

Florence Welch is almost always moving when she performs. With the exception of the occasional sip of water or a dramatic pose at the end of each song, the bewitching British singer-songwriter is constantly on her feet, her body nimbly maximizing as much space on stage as humanly possible, all while singing with unshakable gusto. Many were lucky enough to both witness Welch’s captivating moves and hear her signature guttural mezzo-soprano alongside her backing band The Machine at the 2,000-capacity Los Angeles Theatre on Friday evening (April 29th), the first stop on her 2022 North American tour. Of course, Welch’s flailing, skipping, twirling, and air punching served more than just a function of spectacle. Florence + the Machine’s upcoming record Dance Fever (out May 13th) drew inspiratio...
