New Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Trailer Teases Possible X-Men Crossover: Watch

Before the Rams took on the Bengals in the Super Bowl, Marvel gave a new look at what it’s like when Doctor Strange takes on the multiverse by revealing a new trailer. The latest preview of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness makes it clear the highly anticipated sequel is going to be one hell of a crazy, jam packed ride. You thought Spider-Man: No Way Home had a lot going on? This one’s got a minotaur (Rintrah), Scarlett Witch vs. Wanda (aka Elizabeth Olsen versus herself), as well as mysterious powered up character, a one-eyed tentacle monster (I’m still saying this is Shuma-Gorath), the reality-punching America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez), and some insane special effects. And somehow that’s not all. Midway through the trailer, Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) warns Doctor Strange (Bened...

Meadow and A.J. Reunite in Sopranos-Themed Super Bowl Commercial: Watch

Super Bowl ads have a proud tradition of playing on nostalgia, and in the first half of the big game, few ads captured that quite like the “New Generation” commercial for the all-electric Chevy Silverado. In this pitch-perfect recreation of The Sopranos opening credits, Jamie-Lynn Sigler (who played Tony Soprano’s daughter Meadow in the iconic series) drives her shiny new brand name car from New York to New Jersey as the Alabama 3’s “Woke Up This Morning” plays. The ad packs a little more of an emotional punch with its “new generation” theming and reunion of Sigler and Robert Iler (who played Tony’s son A.J.) at the end — a wistful reminder of the passing of James Gandolfini, because car commercials can simultaneously make us want to buy a new vehicle and also bring tears to our eyes, if t...

Moon Knight Embraces the Chaos in New Super Bowl Commercial: Watch

Embrace the chaos. Marvel Studios shared a new teaser trailer for Moon Knight during the 2022 Super Bowl. Watch the new commercial below. While the dialogue coming from Oscar Isaac (Steven Grant/Marc Spector/Moon Knight) and Ethan Hawke (cult leader Arthur Harrow) is the same as the previous teaser, the new spot reveals a ton of new footage. In addition to clips of our hero morphing into Moon Knight amid eerie shots of the sun setting behind the Great Pyramids of Giza, we see him battling a group of thugs in ways that show of his crescent cape and darts. We also get a glimpse of Harrow’s powers, which are apparently connected to his staff and the pyramids themselves. Jim Carrey Resurrects The Cable Guy for Verizon Super Bowl Ad: Watch

The Cable Guy is back! Jim Carrey dusted off his character Ernie “Chip” Douglas from the 1996 film The Cable Guy to star in Verzion’s Super Bowl commercial. Watch it below. In the ad, the actor announces himself from behind the door of a prospective customer, only to be told she doesn’t need cable thanks to Verizon’s 5G internet service. “Never heard of it,” an unconvinced Cable Guy responds. Carrey then continues with his character’s famous lisp on full display. “So somehow, your home is corrected to Verizon’s ultra-fast 5G network wirelessly without miles and miles of this,” he shoots back, holding up a length of cable to the camera. “Mmhmm, yeah right.” Advertisement Related Video While this is bad news for the longevity of the character’s chosen career path, he can’t help but beg to se...

KROKUS’s MARC STORACE Wants To ‘Bury The Hatchet’ With DEE SNIDER: ‘It’s Not Worth Going To The Grave Carrying A Burden Like That’

KROKUS vocalist Marc Storace has once again said that he is ready to put his band’s long-running feud with TWISTED SISTER‘s Dee Snider behind him. In his autobiography, “Shut Up And Give Me The Mic”, Snider had nothing nice to say about KROKUS. For an entire chapter, he raged about the band, calling them “Krapus” and stating, “You have no idea how close you came landing on the bottom of a lake.” The reason for his outburst: KROKUS commissioned Snider‘s wife Suzette in 1982 to sew stage outfits for the band’s U.S. tour, but the former KROKUS tour manager refused to pay her for her services. “These guys ripped off my wife and threatened her,” said Snider, who pointed out that his wife’s mother emigrated from Switze...

KILLSWITCH ENGAGE’s ADAM DUTKIEWICZ: ‘JAMES HETFIELD Pretty Much Shaped The Guitar Player That I Am’

In a recent interview with RadioactiveMike Z, host of the 96.7 KCAL-FM radio program “Wired In The Empire”, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz spoke about the influence of METALLICA on his musical upbringing. He said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): “James Hetfield has pretty much shaped the guitar player that I am. I grew up on METALLICA, pretty much. Those riffs taught me how to play guitar. Asked what his introduction to METALLICA was, Adam said: “It was a friend of mine at school. I’m a late bloomer, man. Right when ‘…And Justice For All’ came out [in 1988], that’s when I was, like, ‘What the hell is this? This is so sick.’ And then I kind of worked my way backwards. I feel like the entire catalog, from the ̵...

New URIAH HEEP Album Has Been Mixed

In a new interview with Danny Stoakes, URIAH HEEP guitarist Mick Box spoke about the progress of the recording sessions for the legendary progressive rockers’ 26th album. “We’ve just finished recording it,” he said. “We just okayed all the mixes from [producer] Jay Ruston. He did [2018’s] ‘Living The Dream’. He’s been doing it. And he’s out in L.A. so he’s been sending the stuff. I just sent around a load of titles for everyone to pull one out of the bag… And then we’ve gotta do the artwork, of course. Once the title’s been delivered, the artwork has gotta come with that, and then all the credits and everything else and lyrics and all that stuff. So that takes a bit of time. Plus with everything that’s happ...

Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and Mary J. Blige Perform 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show: Watch

Midway through a match-up between the Los Angeles Rams and upstart Cincinnati Bengals at SoFi Stadium, Dr. Dre brought out a championship team of his own for the 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show. Joining the G-funk pioneer on stage were some of his closest collaborators: Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, and surprise guests 50 Cent and Anderson .Paak. By the time the 15-minute performance came to an end, it easily ranked among the most thrilling halftime shows in history. Dr. Dre and his longtime creative partner, Snoop Dogg, kicked off the evening by performing “The Next Episode” and “California Love,” which doubled as a tribute to fellow West Coast hip-hop legend Tupac Shakur. 50 Cent’s surprise performance followed, as the one-time Dr. Dre protege waxed nostalgic...

The Adventure Begins in Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Teaser Trailer: Watch

Polish your sword and pack your own second breakfast, because the adventure finally begins in the teaser trailer for Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Prime Video’s highly-anticipated prequel series has been a long time coming. Amazon first announced it in 2017, and they’ve reportedly spent $465 million on the first season alone. Throw in the cost of the rights and the fact that they’ve already committed to a second season, and Rings of Power may be the first billion-dollar series. The Rings of Power is drawn from J.R.R. Tolkein’s The Silmarillion and set in Middle-earth’s Second Age, thousands of years before Bilbo or Frodo ever met that meddlesome wizard Gandalf. As anyone who’s read Tolkein or seen Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit t...

Larry David Shoots Down Crypto as the Next Big Thing in Super Bowl Ad: Watch

Larry David is known for his hard and cynical opinions on Curb Your Enthusiasm, and now he’s brought that cranky attitude to crypto in a new Super Bowl commercial for FTX. In the ad, David leans into his persona as the grumpy contrarian by shooting down revolutionary developments throughout history, from the wheel (“Eh, I don’t think so. This? Is a miss.”) to the toilet (“A toilet? We’re not animals, we go outside like humans!”) and the moon landing (“It’s far! It’s too far! It’s far!”). Dressed in colonial garb, David even tries to put the kibosh on democracy when he realizes the Founding Fathers intend to give everyone the right to vote. “Even the stupid ones?” he asks before throwing himself on top of the Declaration of Independence. So sure, David’s track record may not be great — he s...

DISTURBED Singer Doesn’t Care If He Alienates People With His Pro-Israel Comments: ‘I Really Don’t Give A S**t Anymore’

DISTURBED frontman David Draiman, who is of Jewish descent, spoke to The Jerusalem Post Podcast about his decision to reactivate his Twitter account after a nearly seven-year absence. The 48-year-old Hawaii-based rocker, who recently announced plans to relocate to Miami, said of his return to the social media platform (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): “It’s difficult sometimes knowing how much animosity exists for not only our people but for the state of Israel and that has been continuing to build and perpetuate over the course of the past 15 to 20 years specifically. I’ve seen tangible changes over the course of my career and my life, and I felt the need to return to social media on a more public level because of how bad things have gotten.” Asked what he noti...
