Mac Miller Drug Dealer Gets 17 Year Prison Sentence, Admits Remorse

According to authorities, Stephen Walter was given a sentence of 210 months – 17.5 years – in federal prison. Walter, 49, admitted to directing co-defendant Ryan Reavis to distribute the pills of oxycodone that were laced with fentanyl to co-defendant Cameron Pettit. Pettit would then sell them to Miller, who would die of a fatal overdose of fentanyl, alcohol, and cocaine. The charges normally have a 20-year mandatory minimum prison term, but Walter entered into a plea agreement last October which garnered him a 17-year sentence. This November will mark 40 years since the release of Michael Jackson’s iconic Thriller album. Originally released on November 30, 1982, via Epic Records, the record was produced by Quincy Jones and features an eclectic blend of disco, pop, funk and R&B sounds. Thriller also contained several tracks from Jackson that became instant hits. In addition to the eponymous “Thriller,” the LP contains “The Girl Is Mine,” “Billie Jean, “Beat It” and “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’. ” Seven singles from the project reached top 10 spots on the Billboard Hot 100, beating the record at the time for the most singles on the chart. The beloved K-pop group Girls’ Generation will return this year. Their new currently untitled album is due for a release in August via SM Entertainment. The release marks the 15th anniversary of their debut single “Into the New World.”  The album will follow Holiday Night, which came out in 2017. Eight members of Girls’ Generation will participate in the album, which will be arrive accompanied by TV appearances and a new reality series.
