GIVĒON Drops Heart-Wrenching “Lie Again” Music Video

GIVĒON has dropped his first 2022 track, dubbed “Lie Again,” alongside an accompanying music video, directed by Adrian Martinez. The visual sees the 27-year-old artist deliver his it’s-complicated lyrics while strolling through the streets of Los Angeles. “Don’t tell me baby, I’ve heard enough,” he sings. “I told you I don’t want the truth.” By the end of the track, which was produced by Don Mills, the vocalist appears to tease a future single while listening to the radio in a taxi. “‘Lie Again’ is a story about the internal war with oneself, battling the acceptance of the ugly-truth, and the refusal to embrace the ghosts of your lover’s past,” GIVĒON said of the track in a statement. “Detailing the complexities of overlooking red flags to remain blissfully ignorant in the name of love.” T...

After the 2022 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominations were announced, first-time nominee Dolly Parton said that she was “respectfully bow[ing] out” of contention for induction. Not long after, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation confirmed that Parton could still be inducted. Burna Boy Announces New Album Love, Damini

Last night (April 28), Burna Boy became the first Nigerian artist to headline a concert at New York’s Madison Square Garden. During the show, he revealed the title of his new album: Love, Damini. A press release notes that the new record “is set to release for his 31st birthday,” which would be July 2, but representatives for the artist tell Pitchfork that the LP does not currently have a firm release date.
