Coachella 2022 Lineup & Schedule: All the Set Times You Need to Know
The Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival kicks off this weekend from April 15 to 17. Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, and Swedish House Mafia with the Weeknd will headline the festival at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. (It returns with the same lineup next weekend—April 22 to 24.) The lineup also includes Phoebe Bridgers, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Baby, 21 Savage, Danny Elfman, Doja Cat, Run the Jewels, Jamie xx, Carly Rae Jepsen, Vince Staples, Japanese Breakfast, Baby Keem, Caribou, and, surprisingly, Arcade Fire. Arcade Fire to Perform at Coachella 2022
Surprise! Arcade Fire will perform at Coachella 2022. The band’s name unexpectedly appeared on the festival’s lineup today: Arcade Fire will play on Friday, April 15, from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Pacific at the Mojave Tent. As of now, the band is performing during just the first weekend, a representative for Arcade Fire tells Pitchfork. Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood’s 1968 record Nancy & Lee is being reissued on vinyl for the first time. The new edition arrives May 20 via Light in the Attic. The album has been remastered by John Baldwin and includes a 20-page booklet featuring a new interview with Sinatra conducted by the reissue’s co-producer Hunter Lea, never-before-seen photos, and two bonus tracks from the original album sessions, a cover of “Love Is Strange” and the Kinks’ “Tired of Waiting for You.” Listen to “Love Is Strange” below. ‘We Ready’ Rapper Archie Eversole Killed by Brother, Say Police
One week after “We Ready” rapper Archie Eversole (born Arthur Eversole) died of gunshot wounds from a March 25 shooting in the Atlanta area, the MC’s brother has been charged with his murder. According to a statement from the DeKalb Country Police Department, Eversole, 37, was shot last month and taken to a nearby hospital, where he died from his injuries on April 3.
