Webcomic artist ONE, best known for his webcomic-turned-critically-acclaimed animated series One-Punch Man and Mob Psycho 100, recently announced that he’s working on a new series. Currently titled Versus, the new manga series will be penned by ONE, while the artwork will be provided by Kyoutaro Azuma, who has previously worked on martial arts-heavy series such as Tenkaichi and King of Fighters. Black Adam dominated the domestic box office in its opening weekend with a $67 million USD figure, marking the largest opening in Dwanye Johnson‘s career as a lead actor, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Going into the weekend, the film was projected to earn $65 million USD, but sales proved to be larger than expected on Saturday and Sunday. Globally, the film reeled in a whopping $140 million USD. Baki manga creator Keisuke Itagaki is penning an epilogue storyline centered on the character Kanji Igari for the forthcoming issue of Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shōnen Champion, Anime News Network reported. The story pays tribute to wrestler Antonio Inoki, who Itagaki based the character on. The real-life Inoki passed away on October 2 due to a rare organ disease called amyloidosis. He was 79-years-old. The Japanese wrestling legend became known around the world for his 1976 mixed-rules bout with Muhammad Ali. After retiring from wrestling, he had a second career as a politician before ultimately retiring in 2019. HBO Sports will hold a lens up to the life and career of basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal in a new documentary. The first installment of the four-part SHAQ will premiere on HBO Max next month. The docuseries will contain a series of in-depth interviews with O’Neal, where he’ll open up about the beginning days of his career and subsequent rise to basketball stardom, a career that has seen the player win four NBA championships and received multiple league MVP honors. He’ll also discuss elements of his personal life, such as the experience growing up in a military family, and pursuing a business and broadcasting post-basketball. A new feature documentary focusing on NBA superstar Stephen Curry is on the way from Apple Original Films, A24, Proximity Media, and Curry’s very own Unanimous Media. Widely considered one of the best players in the league and the best shooter of all time, Curry has been with the Golden State Warriors since 2009 and has led his team to four NBA championships. After more than five years, the popular manga series Tokyo Revengers is set to end in five chapters on November 16 as announced by manga artist Ken Wakui’s official Twitter account which displays an image of “Revenge Completed” printed in red. The manga series currently has 274 chapters and is expected to end on chapter 278.  With many questions still left unanswered, Wakui looks to tie up loose ends in the final arc. With the film’s release less than a month away, a new action-packed Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer has surfaced offering new glimpses at the upcoming film. The clips showcase Namor, the ruler of Atlantis in the Marvel comics, in new action scenes and offer a closer look at the new Black Panther suit which seems to confirm the fans’ early suspicions that Shuri will succeed Chadwick Boseman‘s T’Challa in becoming the new Black Panther. “Without the Black Panther, Wakanda will fall,” Namor says to Queen Ramonda at the beginning of the trailer. Originally announced back in September, Netflix has now released the official trailer for its upcoming Teletubbies reboot. Aside from the return of Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa, and Po, the Netflix Jr series features narration from actor Tituss Burgess and a new Sun Baby. The trailer for the Teletubbies reboot sees the familiar group strolling through the lush hills and waving hello. While narration runs, the Teletubbies are then seen in the Tubbytronic Superdome before they are all introduced.
