With October coming to an end, HBO Max has unveiled its slate of programming for November 2022. Next month’s list is led by the premiere of Shaq, a documentary following the rise of NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal both as a player and a cultural icon, and Love, Lizzo, which narrates the journey of the superstar. Also heading to the streamer are the new seasons of The Sex Lives of College Girls and Sesame Street, along with holiday titles such as A Christmas Story Christmas and A Christmas Mystery. Damon Lindelof is slated to develop a new Star Wars movie for Lucasfilm. Deadline has reported that the project has secured Ms. Marvel‘s Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy as the film’s director. Lindelof is expected to co-write the script, though his partner is currently unknown. Sources close to the project revealed to the publication that the script is currently in production and that it was important for Lucasfilm and Lindelof that their choice of director would carry out their own visions for the story. According to reports, “The Black Queen” was viewed by a total of 9.3 million people across all platforms during its premiere on Sunday night — marking its most-viewed season finale in over three years. Emmy-winning actor and sitcom staple, Leslie Jordan has died at the age of 67. Variety reported that the Jordan died in a car accident in Hollywood on Monday morning when his vehicle crashed into the side of a building on Cahuenga Blvd. and Romaine St. While the cause of death has not yet been confirmed, it is suspected that it was due to a medical emergency. Creator of The Conjuring universe, James Wan, who released The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, the third movie of the franchise last year has confirmed that another sequel is in production.  According to The Hollywood Reporter, New Line Cinema is currently preparing for the production of The Conjuring 4, which will be scribed by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, who also wrote the screenplay for the second and third movies. James Wan and Peter Safran will return to co-produce the movie. On top of that, Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga are also to reprise their roles as the demonologists, Ed and Lorraine Warren. After serving as Kylo Ren in the recent Star Wars sequel trilogy, Adam Driver is now rumored to be entering the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the Fantastic Four. The Hot Mic podcast notes that the American actor and former United States Marine has already met with Marvel Studios for an undisclosed role in the upcoming reboot film. Although no real information has surfaced, Driver is reportedly being eyed to play Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic or Doctor Doom.
