Netflix has officially released the first teaser for famed director Guillermo del Toro‘s upcoming stop-motion Pinocchio film. In this iteration, del Toro “reinvents Carlo Collodi’s classic tale of the wooden marionette who is magically brought to life in order to mend the heart of a grieving woodcarver.” The film follows Pinocchio’s adventures as he navigates Benito Mussolini’s fascist ruling in 1930s Italy. Toei and Sony Pictures have shared behind-the-scenes footage for the upcoming live-action Knights of the Zodiac. Based on the manga Saint Seiya created by Masami Kurumada in 1986, the footage was revealed for the first time at San Diego Comic-Con. “Five young warriors are recruited to be Knights of the Zodiac, an elite cosmic force dedicated to protecting the Greek goddess Athena and the planet Earth,” the movie’s description reads.
