Netflix has released the first official trailer for its upcoming The Sandman series, an adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s DC Comics book series that ran from 1989 to 1996. Described as a blend of myth and dark fantasy, The Sandman follows the Master of Dreams known as Dream, Morpheus and other names. Dream, played by Tom Sturridge, is captured and held prisoner for a century and his imprisonment sends a spiraling effect across both the dreaming and waking worlds. As Dream is freed by mortals, he seeks to restore his former power and establish order. On his journey, Dream will need to track down sacred magical items within the world of Dreaming assisted by head librarian Lucienne. Directed by Chinonye Chukwu, TILL stars Danielle Deadwyler as Till-Mobley and Jalyn Hall as Emmett. The two-and-a-half-minute trailer hears Till-Mobley speak lovingly of her son while clips of his summer trip to Drew, Mississippi to visit his cousins are shown. Debuting this November, the show will feature a 26-episode season and follow a whole new species of Transformers known as Terrans, who were brought to life by two young humans. Named Twitch and Thrash, the two explore their relationship with Robby and Morgan Malta while finding their place and purpose among the Autobots and Decepticons. After teasing the project for more than a year and a half, the first trailer for Marvel‘s new animated series I Am Groot is finally here. Just as the show’s name suggests, the new series follows the Guardians of the Galaxy’s Baby Groot on his little adventures while growing up all over again.
