Netflix has shared a new trailer for its upcoming anime series Tekken: Bloodline. The show adapted from Bandai Namco’s Japanese fighting game franchise, Tekken, which has cemented itself as one of the best-selling video game series of all time since its first release in 1994. This new anime is due to arrive on the streamer in roughly a month. Available in multiple languages, the show is set between the timeline of the Tekken 2 and Tekken 3 games. According to new reports, the streaming giant is now testing out a new way to prevent people from sharing passwords in regions including Argentina, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and the Dominican Republic. If the company detects that you’ve been using Netflix either on a TV or other device in a location outside of your home repeatedly for more than two weeks, the service will prompt you to “buy” an additional household for a set price. In Argentina, the cost will be an extra $1.17 USD per month added to your subscription, while it seems like the price jumps a little further up to $2.99 USD per month in the other listed regions. Quinta Brunson, ABC Hit With Copyright Infringement Lawsuit Over ‘Abbott Elementary’

Quinta Brunson and ABC have been hit with a copyright infringement lawsuit over their show Abbott Elementary, which just received seven Primetime Emmy Awards nominations. According to reports, Christine Davis alleged that the premise of Abbott Elementary was taken from her own show, This School Year, without her consent. Abbott Elementary and This School Year are supposedly “striking and substantially similar,” with the former’s “look and feel of the inner-city school, the mockumentary style, unique plot synopsis, set design and unique characters” pulled from the plaintiff’s original script that was penned in 2018 and copyrighted in 2020 — a year before the ABC show debuted in December 2021. She also added that both her and Abbott Elementary’s scripts include young teacher characters whose...

He and writer Gerrick Kennedy began to have a conversation about how they grew up in a world that was not in the same loving spirit as the purple dinosaur’s “I love you, you love me / We’re a happy family.” “My last number of films have been so aligned to kind of what I stand for as a man,” Kaluuya shared. “But there are a whole lot of things that I do as a man. I love kids’ films. How d...

New ‘Captain America 4’ Poster Will Reportedly Be Unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con 2022

A new poster for Captain America 4 will reportedly be shown at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2022. A cropped image of the poster was shared on reddit, which partly shows Anthony Mackie‘s Sam Wilson in his new Captain America suit (complete with the shield, of course) and Emily VanCamp’s Sharon Carter sporting a white zip-up costume that many argued were similar to Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow’s, who was previously portrayed by Scarlett Johansson. The authenticity of this poster has not been verified by Disney or Marvel Studios, so fans will have to wait and see if more information about Captain America 4 will be shared at this week’s SDCC. It was recently announced that Julius Onah of The Cloverfield Paradox will be directing Captain America 4 — the first film to fully feature Sam Wilson...
