Pete Davidson To Star in Peacock Comedy Series Based on His Life

Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson is gearing up to star in a Peacock series based on his own life. The comedy series, titled Bupkis, will feature half-hour episodes that depict a “heightened, fictionalized version of Pete Davidson’s real life,” according to the company. The show “will combine grounded storytelling with absurd elements from the unfiltered and completely original worldview for which Pete is well known.” The series comes from Lorne Michaels’ Broadway Video and Universal Television banner, under which the SNL standout has worked for decades. Dave Sirus and Judah Miller, both of whom previously worked with Davidson on The King of Staten Island, will join the project as writers alongside the star. Bad Bunny is joining the Sony–Marvel universe as El Muerto/Juan Carlos Estrada Sanchez. The news was announced during Sony’s panel at Cinemacon, with Bad Bunny surprising the crowd. Sony to Develop ‘Venom 3,’ ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ Sequel

Sony has announced new movies for its Venom and Ghostbusters series. The studio will reportedly be developing Venom 3, marking Tom Hardy‘s third appearance as Eddie Brock following 2021’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage, which earned $502 million USD at the global box office, and 2018’s Venom, which earned $856 million USD. Netflix‘s Michael B. Jordan-produced coming of age superhero drama has officially been canceled after just two seasons. The announcement was first revealed by series star Sammi Haney who shared the news on Instagram. She wrote, “Sad to say that Raising Dion is CANCELED. Thank you for all of the amazing support we got from all of our wonderful fans! Season 2 was a success, equal to Season 1, even if just looking at how many people watched all of it and wanted a season 3!” Later, Variety confirmed that the show has indeed ended before the arrival of its third season. Justin Lin is no longer directing Fast X, but will remain attached to the film as a producer. According to reports, he stepped down from his duties as director just a few days after production for the 10th Fast & Furious film began, supposedly due to creative differences. Marvel Entertainment has released yet another promotional teaser leading up to the cinematic release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. In this particular promo spot, The clip begins with an image of Doctor Strange, along with images of other characters set to appear in the sequel including Wong and Scarlet Witch. Lana and Lilly Wachowski are now auctioning off some of their collection of iconic film props and collectibles to raise money in support of trans youths. Employing the aid of Potter & Potter Auctions, the Wachowskis have now created a catalog for their “Enter the Matrix: The Wachowski Collection,” which features a whole variety of highly covetable film props including Cyphus’ Lightning Rifle from The Matrix, the latex ears and gravity boots worn by Channing Tatum in Jupiter Ascending, a Neo-Seoul speeder from Cloud Atlas, a Segway from Speed Racer, and prop guns from Sense8.
