Wu-Tang Clan Is Dropping Its Own ‘Fortnite’ Gear and Emotes

Wu-Tang Clan is bringing its style to Fortnite in new in-game clothing and gear collections. Starting tomorrow evening, April 23, a variety of Wu Wear items will be made available in the Item Shop, including new Outfits, Back Blings and Pickaxes. The Wu Wear getups are made up of two Outfits and matching accessories. Each Outfit offers a No Cap Style for users to switch to. The Throwback BG Outfit features a Wu-Tang-branded jacket and WUWEAR Worldwide Back Bling, the latter of which is reactive to music. It also comes with the hit-reactive Neck Protector Pickaxe. ‘Rocket League’ To Receive Battle Royale Mode

Rocket League is adding a limited-time battle royale mode, dubbed Knockout Bash, to its usual vehicular soccer gameplay. The new mode, which will be available to play for two weeks beginning on April 27, will see eight players face off against each other inside an ever-shrinking “Safezone” in an effort to be the last one standing. Players must defend themselves by ramming into opposing vehicles, blocking attacks and throwing opponents across the arena; they will only be eliminated once they have been knocked out three times, according to Engadget. Knockout Bash will include several hazards, including spikes and laser grids, that will immediately knock out players. Godzilla and King Kong Are Coming to ‘Call of Duty: Warzone’

In the latest gaming crossover, Activision Blizzard has announced that Godzilla and King Kong will appear in Call of Duty: Warzone, with a new event dubbed Operation Monarch on May 11. Specifically, the crossover is with Godzilla vs. Kong, Adam Wingard’s 2021 sci-fi action movie that saw the two beasts go head-to-head. Though it’s unclear how Kong and Godzilla will be integrated into the game, Call of Duty notes in a blog post that the so-called Titans of the Monsterverse will “lay siege to Caldera later in the season” with Operation Monarch. The Pokémon Company International has now entered an agreement to purchase trading card manufacturer Millennium Print Group. For now, no pricing details were provided for the acquisition, which will see the two companies join forces following a business partnership that started back in 2015. The companies’ announcement highlights that Millennium Print Group will continue to operate as a separate, autonomous organization but with the aid of both investment and industry expertise from The Pokémon Company International, which oversees the Pokémon brand globally outside of Asia. Sega has officially confirmed the release of its multi-game collection Sonic Origins.
