Doja Cat will no longer be The Weeknd‘s opening slot for is summer tour due to the need for recovery after tonsil surgery. The “Kiss Me More” artist took to her Instagram Story to tell her fans, “Hi guys, I wanted you to hear it from me first. Unfortunately I have to have surgery on my tonsils ASAP. The surgery is routine but the recovery is going to take awhile due to swelling. That means I have to cancel my festival run this summer as well as The Weeknd tour. Pete Davidson is expected to leave the cast of Saturday Night Live after tomorrow night’s season finale, according to Variety and The Hollywood Reporter. Last year, Davidson alluded to the end of his tenure, remarking, “I’m ready to hang up the jersey.” Variety also reports that Aidy Bryant, Kate McKinnon, and Kyle Mooney are set to depart the cast at the end of this season.
