FOZZY guitarist Rich Ward spoke to The Entertainment Outlet about the band’s upcoming LP, “Boombox”, which is due on May 6. It is the follow-up to 2017’s “Judas”, the title track of which was recently certified gold by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association Of America) for accumulating 500,000 certified units. Ward said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): “I feel like this is our best FOZZY album. I think ‘Judas’ is a fantastic record, but we didn’t allow ourselves this process of at the end coming up with the real banger riffs. I would have been happier with ‘Judas’ if we had two or three more really crushing songs to really make it a more balanced meal. ‘Cause I’m a big pop guy. Most of the music I li...

Billie Eilish’s Saturday night headlining performance at Coachella included a surprise appearance from Damon Albarn, who joined the young pop singer to perform Gorillaz’s classic “Feel Good Inc.” Albarn initially joined Eilish on stage to lend vocals to “Getting Older,” from Eilish’s sophomore album, Happier Than Ever. The two, along with De La Soul’s Posdnuos, then launched into a rousing version of “Feel Good Inc.” “[Damon] changed my life in a lot of ways, and changed my view of what music and art and creation could be,” Eilish told the crowd as she introduced Albarn. “My first favorite band ever was the Good, the Bad and the Queen when I was six years-old, and Blur changed the world, and Gorillaz changed the world, and this man is literally a genius, and that’s that.” Advertisement Rel...
Pulling double duty as host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live is both an honor and a curse—often more endurance test than a purely joyful performance. For every Justin Timberlake episode that audiences seem to love (sometimes inexplicably, to be honest), or Miley Cyrus episode that seems to cement the artist’s place in the SNL inner circle, there’s a Halsey episode that feels lucky to escape with a few stray highlights. Singer, songwriter, dancer, producer, actress, and flautist Lizzo seems like an inspired choice for this sometimes-thankless task; though she’s known mainly for music, she has the kind of poise and confidence that translates well to live comedy. Throughout her episode of SNL, she hit her marks with clarity and energy—though the episode itself seemed stuck in Timberla...

The video featured scenes of BTS’s music videos through the years, ending with the members saying “WE ARE BULLETPROOF,” a reference to the group’s original name (Bulletproof Boy Scouts) and their debut album, 2 Cool 4 Skool. The group’s label, BigHit Music, later confirmed the release date in a message to fans over the weekend. Related Video The June 10th release date coincides with BTS’s ninth anniversary as a band, as well as the annual BTS Festa on June 13th.
