MEGADETH Pays Visit To USS Lexington Ahead Of Corpus Christi Concert
Ahead of MEGADETH‘s concert tonight (April 14) at American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas, guitarist/vocalist Dave Mustaine and bassist James LoMenzo paid a visit to the USS Lexington Museum. Mustaine and LoMenzo got a tour of the Blue Ghost, the longest-serving Essex-class aircraft carrier of World War II. The ship was decommissioned in 1991 and converted to a museum in 1992. USS Lexington thanked the musicians for their visit, writing in a social media post earlier today: “It’s always a pleasure welcoming exceptional guests aboard the USS Lexington Museum! Thank you MEGADETH for visiting, we hope you enjoyed your tour! ‘We Ready’ Rapper Archie Eversole Killed by Brother, Say Police
One week after “We Ready” rapper Archie Eversole (born Arthur Eversole) died of gunshot wounds from a March 25 shooting in the Atlanta area, the MC’s brother has been charged with his murder. According to a statement from the DeKalb Country Police Department, Eversole, 37, was shot last month and taken to a nearby hospital, where he died from his injuries on April 3. Digital music licensing service Merlin struck a partnership with South Korean streaming service FLO that will allow Merlin members to expand their audiences in the country.
