Looking back, I can’t imagine a more perfect resolution to this lineage. I think subconsciously, this song was always the end of the road. It’s the realization that some things cannot be avoided, only accepted, and that just because it isn’t a happy ending, doesn’t mean it’s a bad one. There is an ending in every beginning, and all things come back around in one strange way or another. You can’t change your past, nor anyone else’s, and the only real strength you have in this lifetime is your forgiveness.

Sheer Mag, !!!, Topaz Jones Announced for Phone-Free Over Yondr Festival

Yondr, the company that makes lockable pouches that prevent audience members from using cell phones at concerts, has announced its first public phone-free music festival. Sheer Mag, !!!, and Topaz Jones will perform, along with Kississippi, Bones of JR Jones, and Kaleta & the Super Yamba Band. The Over Yondr festival happens in Greene County, New York from June 24-26 with only 400 passes available for the three-day camping event. See more information here. The Weeknd Is Auctioning Off 25 “Out of Time” Vinyl Records Pressed on Real Saw Blades

The Weeknd has teamed up with art collective MSCHF to release his latest single, “Out of Time,” as a limited-edition vinyl record pressed into a real, functioning saw blade. The unique Vinyl Blade, of which there will only be 25 copies, is currently up for blind auction on MSCHF’s website until April 8, with a starting bid at $1,000 USD. The Senate confirmed Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court on Thursday (April 7), making history by securing her place as the first Black female justice. Fifty-one-year-old Jackson was confirmed 53-47, with three Republican votes from Susan Collins (Maine), Lisa Murkowski (Alaska) and Mitt Romney (Utah). The new Supreme Court justice was formerly an appeals court judge with nine years experience on the federal bench. She is the third Black justice, after Thurgood Marshall and Clarence Thomas, and the sixth woman.
