Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood’s the Smile Announce European Tour
The Smile will embark on their first tour this spring. The trio of Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood, with jazz drummer Tom Skinner, will sweep through Europe in May, starting in Zagreb and finishing up in July at Switzerland’s Montreux Jazz Festival. The tour includes consecutive nights at London’s Roundhouse and Philharmonie de Paris. Check out the dates below. Since debuting last year, the Smile have shared a pair of singles: “You Will Never Work in Television Again” and “The Smoke,” both produced by Nigel Godrich. Guitar-shredding virtuoso George Lynch recently reteamed with his former DOKKEN bandmate Jeff Pilson for a set of new studio recordings that turn pop music classics into powerful metal anthems. The follow-up to 2020’s “Heavy Hitters”, tentatively titled “Heavy Hitters 2”, will be released later in the year via Deadline Music, a subsidiary of Cleopatra Records, Inc. Tash Sultana Announces 2022 North American Tour
Tash Sultana has announced their first North American tour in three years. The “Terra Firma Tour,” which comes in support of Sultana’s latest album of the same name, goes down June and July 2022. Over the course of the 24-date run, Sultana will play shows at Red Rocks in Morrison, CO; Pier 17 in New York City; Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver; and Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.
