TikTok standout and Eurovision entry “Snap” becomes Rosa Linn‘s first No. 1 on a Billboard chart, ascending to the top of the Adult Alternative Airplay tally dated Oct. 22. The song was initially released as the Armenian entry for the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest and subsequently went viral on TikTok. “Snap” is one of a trio of songs in the Adult Alternative Airplay top 10 to score significant buzz on TikTok, alongside Steve Lacy‘s “Bad Habit” at No. 7 and Noah Kahan‘s “Stick Season” at No. 10. Linn is the first act to reign with a first charted song on Adult Alternative Airplay since Mitski, whose “The Only Heartbreaker” led in March. “I grew up listening to good music,” Linn told SiriusXM’s Billboard Live on Oct. 18. “My mom loves jazz and my dad is a Beatles fan … Deep Purple, Led Zeppe...
ATLiens and SVDDEN DEATH have awoken an unholy terror with their newest single,” “Purgatory.” Like the cries of a creature from hell but also somehow from space like in DOOM, ATLiens and SVDDEN DEATH’s new collaboration kicks off with an echoing transmission from beyond. A fast-paced, interstellar beat takes center stage as they power up the warp-drive to reach the speed of light. ATLiens and SVDDEN DEATH then introduce a woozy meld of mechanical growls, haunting whispers and glitchy synths as they slam on the breaks and cut the song to a crawl. The byproduct is a wonderfully produced amalgam of the former’s experimental bass and the latter’s sinister sound design from the underworld. Scroll to Continue Recommended Articles “PurgatoryR...

“We have so much to say, and we shall never say it,” reads a quote in the trailer for Netflix’s upcoming World War I drama All Quiet on the Western Front. It’s an excerpt from Erich Maria Remarque’s 1929 anti-war novel of the same name, which serves as the source material for the film. The story centers around a young German soldier named Paul Bäumer (played by Felix Kammerer) who lies about his age so he can enlist alongside his friends, all of whom share romanticized ideals about the war. As the trailer depicts, Bäumer is quickly thrown into the trenches with little training or equipment and subjected to the bleak conditions of the Western Front. To make things worse, the German government seems unwilling to accept the reality of its losing cause despite the urging of a ceasefire fr...
Earlier this month, a video went viral of a Mississippi daycare worker scaring kids in a classroom while wearing what appears to be a mask of Ghostface, the knife-wielding villain from the Scream film franchise. In the viral clip, which you can watch here, an unidentified daycare worker is seen wearing the Ghostface mask w...

It spans six tracks, including “Mutate,” and features guests Yu Su, Fauzia, and Lamin Fofana.
