Natural Brown Prom Queen is the second full-length from the Los Angeles-based Brittney Parks. It arrives on September 9, three years after 2019’s Athena. After releasing the single “Home Maker” in March, she followed it “Selfish Soul” in May. “NBPQ (Topless)” first arrived with news of the album in early July. Parks released “Selfish Soul” in the spring as another early preview of the album. She’s set to tour the United States later this year after a handful of dates in Europe. Manchester rapper Aitch has apologized after an advertisement promoting his new album Close to Home was painted overtop a beloved mural of a late hometown hero, Joy Division frontman Ian Curtis. The advertisement, which is located on Port Street in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, went up today, August 16 ahead of the rapper’s album release this Friday.
