But, she was once featured on reality television. In mid-2020, Rock competed on the Fox series, Ultimate Tag. In the video, she is called by her nickname Seany and is seen blazing through an obstacle course. Host JJ Watt praises Rock calling her a “natural athlete” in the clip that is going viral again given her new social media fame. We recently attended a Daft Punk-inspired concert experience called “CONTACT,” an immersive show that marries a “multi-sensory dance party” with a space opera. After completing a one-year substance abuse program in May, Bam Margera has unfortunately been in and out of court-mandated rehab. At some point, however, he was able to appear on Steve-O’s podcast to discuss his battles with addiction and dismissal from Jackass Forever. John Wick Spinoff Series The Continental Moves to Peacock in Multi-Year Deal
Action junkies are in luck today, because Peacock has announced a multi-year deal for The Continental, a highly anticipated three-part special event based on the blockbuster John Wick films. Premiering in 2023, the limited series will explore the origin story of the Continental Hotel, a refuge and meeting ground for hit men and assassins. Set in 1975 New York, The Continental is told from the point of view of a young Winston Scott (Colin Woodell), who we know eventually becomes the hotel’s manager. The series will focus on Winston’s dangerous quest to seize control of the hotel, which serves as a rendezvous point for some of the world’s deadliest criminals. Kenya Barris to Write and Direct Wizard of Oz Remake
Warner Bros. has brought on black-ish creator Kenya Barris for the studio’s remake of The Wizard of Oz, reports Deadline. Barris will write and direct the “modern reimagining” of the beloved 1939 musical film, but is apparently keeping any further details under wraps. He will also be producing under his Khalabo Ink Society banner. In what’s sure to be a confusing situation for everyone not involved, New Line Cinema previously announced its own “fresh take” on Wizard of Oz in February 2021 with Nicole Kassell (HBO’s Watchmen) helming the film. Snoop Dogg Launches Breakfast Cereal for All Your Wake-and-Bake Mornings
Breakfast is served at the dog pound: Snoop Dogg has unveiled his very own breakfast cereal, named — what else? — Snoop Loopz. The circular cereal is billed as an alternative to Froot Loopz, with “more corn, more flavor, and more marshmallows,” per Master P, who shared the news via his socials this week. Snoop Loopz will be distributed in grocery stores by Snoop’s own company Broadus Foods, which already boasts a range of “Mama Snoop’s” breakfast products.
