10 People Shot on Set of French Montana Music Video

10 people were shot on the set of a French Montana music video on January 6th in Miami Gardens, Florida, according to local outlet WSVN. Police and firefighters responded to reports of a shooting outside of the soul food restaurant The Licking just before 8:00 p.m. ET. According to Miami Gardens Police Department detective Diana Gourgu, guns were discharged at three different crime scenes, beginning at another undisclosed location and ending at The Licking. Representatives of The Licking said they were unaware that French Montana and another rapper, Rob49, had been filming a music video in their back parking lot until shortly before the incident. Tropical Fuck Storm bassist and founding member Fiona Kitschin has been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer, the band has revealed in a statement. The necessary treatment means TFS has been forced to cancel their US tour, which was slated to begin later this month. “We’ve hit a bump in the road here at TFS HQ as Fiona has been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer,” the Australian group wrote in their statement. “She’s in good spirits considering but it means she’s going to need a lot of treatment. Universal Music Group Sues Triller Over Unpaid License Fees

Universal Music Group has filed a lawsuit against video app Triller over unpaid license fees, Variety reports and Pitchfork can confirm. The complaint, which was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, alleges that Triller has missed payments for the past nine months, thereby violating their licensing agreement with the publishing giant. According to documents viewed by Variety, Triller has failed to produce three installments of the payment plan outlined in their contract. The complaint states that the video-sharing app agreed to pay nearly $3 million for licensing and past use of the Universal Music catalog over a period of two years, with payments required on a quarterly basis. Alleged Takeoff Shooter Freed On $1M Bond

According to reports, Patrick Xavier Clark was released from the Harris County jail on Wednesday (Jan. 4). His bond was set at $1 million.
