Warner Bros. has released the official trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.
Written by J.K. Rowling, the new movie is the third installment of the Harry Potter spin-off series with David Yates returning as the film’s director. The almost three-minute visual showcases Professor Albus Dumbledore entrusting Magizoologist Newt Scamander to lead a ragtag team of wizards, witches and a muggle to stop Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald from taking over the wizarding world. But with high stakes, Dumbledore himself may have to enter the battle to stop Grindelwald as illustrated by a luminous move from Dumbledore against a Dark wizard towards the trailer’s end.
The last Fantastic Beasts film revealed that Dumbledore’s long-lost brother Credence Barebone works with Grindelwald. With this shocking truth, the new film is sure to explore the many facets of Dumbledore’s mysterious life.
