Chronicling Yeat x Nike’s Collaborative History

Chronicling Yeat x Nike's Collaborative History

Yeat is on Go Mode right now. Ramping up his long-awaited A DANGEROUS LYFE / A DANGEROUS LOVE rollout, the rapper continues to assert himself as a tastemaker across the cultural zeitgeist, frequently showing up in spaces far beyond the sonic realm.

Last October, Yeat made his runway debut in Guram Gvasalia‘s Spring 2026 VETEMENTS showcase. His first formal foray into the high fashion world, the rapper donned the “6-9” jersey for his strut, turning heads as he kept the garment pulled over his head the entire time.

Though he’s no stranger to fashion and footwear fronts, having recently found himself aligned more closely with a new creative partner, Nike. A longtime supporter of the Three Stripes, as of late, Twizzy has taken his affinity for the label to the next level. Back in 2022, his song “Turban” was featured in a Nike campaign, and then in 2023, he appeared alongside Drake in the Mahfaz Sultan-directed visuals for the NOCTA “Glide” Sneaker, which also came complete with original “Music by Twizz and The Boy.”

More recently, he’s stepped into a more active, hands-on role. He was one of the first to be spotted in the Spring/Summer 2026 Nike ACG x Cactus Plant Flea Market drop, alongside fellow A-list artist Travis Scott, and is now continuing to expand his own creative output with the help of the footwear imprint.

In case you missed it, the rapper recently shared a slew of photos on Instagram of himself in the lab at the Nike Campus in Beaverton, Oregon, just a stone’s throw away from his hometown of Portland. The photos make one thing very clear: King Tonka isn’t just a trendy, front-facing figurehead for the brand. Rather, he’s now stepping into a more active design role for the Swoosh, bringing his equally refined artistic vision to some of the most sought-after in-house silhouettes.

Yeat’s Instagram story Nike Campus content dump is not, by any means, unprecedented. It’s been a slow-burning collaborative venture that traces back to last October, only getting clearer and more cohesive as time goes on. We’ve chronicled the dialed-in duo’s full collaborative history below.

October 2025: Lyfestyle Corporation x Nike Air Max Goadome

King Tonka’s collaborative Swoosh streak kick-started last October, beginning with the teasing of the rapper’s first-ever self-designed Nike silhouette. Handled under his Lifestyle Corporation creative umbrella, the Air Max Goadome boot marked the first model the rapper reimagined through his distinct creative lens. Yeat got his hands on the high-top model during a point of particular resurgence, putting his own true-to-form spin on the rugged boot. First leaked by Hidden, the Lyfestyle Corporation x Nike Air Max Goadome comes doused in an all-leather, all-black composition. Studs are added throughout the sleek ACG silhouette, levelling it up just slightly in a way that feels deeply intentional. Very calm, very clean, very Yeat.

February 2026: Yeat x Nike Air Liquid Max

After that drop, it was quiet for a minute on the Yeat x Nike front. However, he knew when to return with the noise. There was no better time to capitalize than when all eyes were on him – and EsDeeKid, that is. Twizzy’s collaboration with the Scouse rapper was at the forefront of the cultural consciousness. What better occasion than to debut his most notable design venture yet?

The duo dropped off “Made It On Our Own” on February 27 – already disrupting the formula with a before-midnight-on-a-Friday DSP release – in tandem with its music video. Shot fully on-site at Drake’s house, Yeat debuts a never-before-seen pair of Nike Air Liquid Max sneakers. Not to mention, February 27 signalled exactly one month away from Nike’s annual Air Max Day celebration. Defined by a green-on-black upper, the sneaker spotlights distinct segments of Air across the black sole unit, paired with black Swooshes on either side.

Ultimately, no actual information of confirmed details were revealed at the time.

March 2026: Yeat x Nike Air Force 1

Not until this month, that is.

Today, Nike revealed that Yeat’s Nike Air Liquid Max will in fact release on this year’s Air Max Day, news that arrives right on the heels of the rapper’s on-campus photo dump, which actually spotlights an entirely new range of product.

First on the docket is a collaborative pair of Air Force 1 sneakers. The classic silhouette comes in two ADL-ified versions, landing in hues of all-black and all-white, simply elevated with the album’s iconography on the side as well as on the tongue.

There’s also a good amount of apparel seen in the images as well. Visible thus far is a lineup of ADL hoodies, hit with co-branded Lyfestyle x Nike branded hits throughout, yet still kept rather stripped down in design. Matching graphic sweat sets come to match, with a few of images spotlighting the team cooking up the perfect spray-painted graphics to stamp on each. There’s also a pair of gloves and what resembles a set of luggage as well.

Stay tuned as more information materializes regarding Nike and Yeat’s continuing creative collaborative work.
