Animated Clay Figures Go Wild in Pharrell’s “Cash In Cash Out” Video

Pharrell Williams has wasted no time this year. The iconic entrepreneurial-minded artist has already touched down on a plethora of major music releases in 2022. Production credits on Rosalía’s ‘MOTOMAMI,’ Pusha T’s ‘It’s Almost Dry’ and Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers’ are but a few of his musical appearances this year. Beyond that, his collaborative line with adidas has expanded and he’s set to host a star-studded lineup at his Something in the Water festival. Now, he has teamed up with 21 Savage and Tyler, the Creator with the release of “Cash In Cash Out.”

While Pharrell sticks to production this time around, 21 Savage kicks off the track with an infectious chorus. The track progresses with him and Tyler spitting lively verses atop Pharrell’s bass-heavy beat. However, the track truly comes to life with its music video. Directed by François Rousselet, who’s prior works include Kanye West’s “Good Life” music video, a claymation styled animation features the three artists living lavishly. Highlights include 21 Savage sitting atop a Tesla Cybertruck with Pharrell at the wheel and Tyler reimagined as a scantily clad woman dancing with a hula hoop.

Check out the video above and in case you missed it, here are this week’s best new tracks.
