BIGBANG have announced a 31-show worldwide stadium tour marking the group’s 20th anniversary, with G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung reuniting for their first tour since 2017. The run launches August 21 at Goyang Stadium in South Korea and extends through February 28, 2027 across Asia, North America, Europe and Australia. The official tour title and ticketing information will be announced at a later date, with fans able to register for updates now via BIGBANG’s b.stage platform.
The tour’s scale reflects both the group’s commercial reach and the nine years of pent-up demand since their last full run. North American dates land at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum on September 5 and MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford on September 11, followed by European stops at Stade de France in Paris on September 19 and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on September 26. The Asian leg is the tour’s most densely programmed stretch, taking the group through Taipei, Singapore, Hanoi, Bangkok and Hong Kong before a substantial Japanese run across Osaka, Nagoya, Tokyo and Fukuoka from late November through late December. The final dates extend into 2027 with stops in Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and two closing shows in Kaohsiung.
The announcement follows BIGBANG’s return to the stage at Coachella 2026, which served as the group’s first major live appearance in years and confirmed that the demand for a full tour was there. Forbes praised their “blistering Coachella set” as “proof they remain unparalleled,” while the Los Angeles Times described them as “one of K-pop’s most influential acts” and noted they drew a huge crowd. The Coachella performance was the proof of concept; the stadium tour is the answer to what it demonstrated.
20 years after their debut, BIGBANG’s position in K-pop history is foundational rather than nostalgic. The group helped establish the commercial and cultural infrastructure that made K-pop’s global expansion possible, setting precedents in touring scale, fashion crossover and international reach that shaped what came after them. Their 2022 comeback single “Still Life,” which Billboard named among the year’s best K-pop songs, confirmed that relevance had survived their extended hiatus intact. A stadium tour of this scope — 31 shows across four continents — is not a legacy act cashing in but a group whose cultural standing is large enough to fill the world’s biggest rooms nine years after their last run.
