St. Vincent Covers Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” With Stay Human

Last week, St. Vincent had a musical residency on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. After recently sharing a teaser, FX has now announced the release date for the upcoming fourth and final season of Donald Glover’s Atlanta. The series will premiere on September 15 at 10 p.m. on FX. This premiere consists of the season’s first two episodes, with the remaining eight episodes to follow in the following weeks. SoundCloud has announced that it will be laying off roughly 20% of its workforce due to recent changes in the economic and financial landscape, as noted in reports by Billboard and Variety. “During this difficult time, we are focused on providing the support and resources to those transitioning while reinforcing our commitment to executing our mission to lead what’s next in music,” the company wrote in a statement shared with Pitchfork. The Strokes played the first of several shows opening for Red Hot Chili Peppers at Seattle’s T-Mobile Park on Wednesday night. As luck would have it, Eddie Vedder was back in town following Pearl Jam’s own recent European jaunt, and he sat in with The Strokes for a performance of “Juicebox.” Watch fan-captured footage of the on-stage collaboration below. Clem Burke, most well known as the drummer for Blondie, has truly lived it up. Even though he thought he’d be retired by 30, he’s still going, and living it up, with a soon-to-be-released memoir to boot. He has been the drummer for four different bands inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame—including Blondie, the Ramones, the Go-Go’s, and 2022 inductees the Eurythmics—and has received an Honorary Doctorate of Music from the University of Gloucestershire for his Clem Burke Drumming Project.
