DJ Koze has released his new remix of “Feel About You,” a June single from DJ and producer Melle Brown and former BBC Radio host Annie Mac. “It’s always incredible when music connects people around the world,” Brown remarked in a statement, “I just never anticipated being able to say the legendary DJ Koze has done an official remix of ‘Feel About You’.” Listen to the new remix below.
“I got such a kick out of anticipating what Koze’s take on ‘Feel About You’ would be,” Annie Mac said. “When he sent me the track I took it out for a walk in the evening sun and listened to it three times in a row. It was a very surreal and beautiful experience. I love the new music he’s crafted; the new piano line, that vocal sample in the break, those drums, that emotional climax at the end. He is a wizard when it comes to reinterpreting songs, and I’m forever grateful that he chose ‘Feel About You’ to remix.”
DJ Koze’s last original full-length, Knock Knock, came out in 2018. Earlier this year, he shared a remix of Peggy Gou’s “I Go,” and, last year, he released remixes of Lakou Mizik and Joseph Ray’s “Sanba Yo Pran Pale” and José González’s “Tjomme.”
