Kentucky rockers BLACK STONE CHERRY have released the official music video for the song “Ringin’ In My Head”. The track is taken from the band’s seventh studio album, “The Human Condition”, which was made available in 2020. The clip, which was shot in the Kentucky barn that BLACK STONE CHERRY uses as a rehearsal space, was directed by Tom Flynn and Mike Watts, who had previously worked on LAMB OF GOD‘s “Memento Mori”. “In 2020, when the world seemed to be falling apart, an older song we had started a few years earlier struck a nerve with us,” said BLACK STONE CHERRY frontman Chris Robertson. “Lyrically it seemed too close to the times not to try and make the song something special. The result is guaranteed to give you ...
U.S. groove rock masters CLUTCH have released a brand new single, “Red Alert (Boss Metal Zone)”. The song’s official music video, directed by David Brodsky, can be seen below. CLUTCH frontman and lyric wordsmith Neil Fallon explains: “Early in 2021, I learned the Boss Metal Zone pedal schematic was being presented as ‘proof’ that the COVID-19 vaccine had an electronic component to communicate with 5G cellular networks. It was, of course, nonsense. It sounded like a [sci-fi icon] Philip K. Dick premise. I didn’t want to write a song specific to COVID-19 vaccines, so I went with the Philip K. Dick angle (again). ‘Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep?’ [Dick‘s 1968 science fiction novel] came to mind (replicants, in particular, repres...
LL Cool J is bringing back Rock the Bells, but as the man himself said, “Don’t call it a comeback!” The legacy hip-hop festival returns August 6th with a lineup featuring Ice Cube, Lil Kim, Rick Ross, and more. Rock the Bells, named for a song of the same name off LL Cool J’s classic 1985 album Radio, first launched in 2004 and featured a reunited Wu-Tang Clan just months before Ol’ Dirty Bastards death. The fest returned in various forms through 2013, when poor sales put the project to bed. LL Cool J revived it as the name of his SiriusXM radio channel, and following a trademark lawsuit he’s now ready to take another pass at the festival format. This latest iteration of Rock the Bells will take place in LL Cool J’s hometown of Queens, New York. He’ll be performing with DJ Z-Trip...

His family believes he was the victim of an armed robbery, and the Prince George’s County Police Department is offering a $25,000 for any information leading to the assailant’s arrest. On Sunday (April 3rd), Goonew’s family and friends held a celebratory event at Washington, D.C.’s Bliss Nightclub, which was billed as the rapper’s “final show.” As Complex points out, Goonew’s apparent embalmed corpse was propped upright and on full display during the event, adorned with a crown and designer clothing.
