Rapper $NOT claims that he has been subjected to online abuse from “racist metalheads” after Mikey Doling of metal band SNOT lashed out at LIMP BIZKIT for agreeing to take $NOT out as one of the support acts on its spring 2022 tour. On Saturday (March 19), Doling shared a since-deleted video message on his social media in which he called out LIMP BIZKIT frontman Fred Durst — whom he referred to as a “friend” — for seemingly having approved the addition of $NOT to LIMP BIZKIT‘s upcoming tour. He said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): “Mikey Doling here from the real SNOT. I’m making this video because there is a young rapper kid out there calling himself $NOT. I heard about him about a year and a half ago. [I] didn’t think nothing of it be...

In a recent interview with Guitar World magazine, Tipton said that he and the rest of PRIEST‘s current lineup weren’t aware of Downing‘s desire to come back to the band when they made their decision to hire producer Andy Sneap to play guitar on the “Firepower” tour. “[K.K.] never approached any of the band and asked to rejoin, so for all we knew, he didn’t want to rejoin,” Glenn said. “He said he wanted to leave the band and then leave the music industry. He told us he was desperate for a new kind of life.” When Guitar Wor...
