According to reports, Warner Bros. announced that the Robert Pattinson-led film was streamed by 4.1 million Smart TV households during its first week on HBO Max. The film adaptation of Nintendo‘s Super Mario Bros. video game series has been postponed to 2023. Game creator Shigeru Miyamoto confirmed the news on Twitter, addressing fans via the Nintendo of America account. “This is Miyamoto. The television anime of Hiroyuki Takei’s Shaman King manga, a reboot of the 2001 series of the same name, will be receiving a sequel. The series, which aired for one year starting in April 2021, adapted all 35 volumes of the new complete manga edition and wrapped up the run with 52 episodes. A brief teaser gives fans a look into what’s to come in the Shaman King sequel, showing Hana, the son of Anna and Yoh. Accompanying promotional visuals show the lineup of characters at present and seven years in the future, teasing that the sequel will be set sometime in the future. Thanks to Twitter user @OP_Netflix_Fan, we now have a first look at the Straw Hat Pirates’ first full-sized ship, The Going Merry, along with other ships and places from the show. The real-life version of the ship faithfully replicates its jib and a central steer rudder orientation, complete with its signature sheep figurehead. Amazon is reportedly adapting Hazelight Studios‘ recent hit It Takes Two into a film and Dwayne Johnson is potentially involved in the cast.
