In August 2021, English musician Elderbrook released the music video for “Inner Light,” his collaborative single with the electronic duo Bob Moses. The visual stars Elise Legros and Jean-Yves Phuong as they dance on a rotating platform, situated inside the Panthéon in Paris. The scene is excerpted from French dancer and choreographer Yoann Bourgeois’ 2018 film The Great Ghosts. “Inner Light” may now look familiar to Harry Styles fans, as the pop star dances on a rotating platform with Mathilde Lin in his new “As It Was” music video. As it turns out, Styles’ new video is choreographed by Yoann Bourgeois. Bourgeois had previously used a rotating stage in his 2014 piece He Who Falls, as Billboard notes. In an interview with NR, the artist remarked, “The relationship with physical forces has a...

Cole open D-Day: A Gangsta Grillz Mixtape with “Stick.” Earlier this week, J. Cole surprised Dreamville fans with the news that he teamed up with DJ Drama for a new Gangsta Grillz mixtape. The project doesn’t come entirely out of left field, since the mixtape king is performing a special set at Dreamville Festival this weekend (April 2nd-3rd) featuring Lil Wayne, T.I., and Jeezy, but it was still exciting to see two blog era veterans come together. Once Cole dropped the artwork, it was also apparent how seriously they took the project. With the entire Dreamville roster draped in dark clothing and Photoshopped in front of a wa...
Once upon a time in American suburbia, one’s worth may have been determined by the amount of Abercrombie & Fitch in their closet. But the brand’s sexed-up, post-prepster allure was not without its fair share of prejudice, as told in the official trailer for the upcoming Netflix documentary White Hot: The Rise & Fall of Abercrombie & Fitch. Beyond the superfluous perfume, dim lighting, and nightclubby playlists in their stores, A&F were also recognizable by their homogenous models: Thin, white, and perceptibly “cool.” Their marketing insinuated that all customers and employees should fit that description, too, spawning endless accusations of discrimination. A Muslim woman, featured in the trailer, won a Supreme Court case in 2015 after suing the company for their “no headsca...
Willow Smith has released a heavy new single titled “Purge,” featuring Siiickbrain, along with an accompanying music video. The daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith released her fourth album, Lately I Feel Everything, in July, but is already putting out new songs that weren’t included on the LP. The singer, who just goes by the artist name WILLOW, appeared on Machine Gun Kelly’s single “emo girl” in February. Now, she’s unleashed “Purge,” which builds up to an intense chorus that finds both WILLOW and Siiickbrain singing at the top of their lungs, with the latter even delivering some powerful metalcore screams. The eye-catching video matches the intensity of the song, with WILLOW and Siiickbrain both wearing striking outfits as they bash a car with baseball bats and engage in othe...
As the proverb goes, March comes in like a lion, but out like a lamb. Singer-songwriter Lady Lamb is certainly taking the saying to heart, dropping her new single “Wolves of My Want” just one day after returning with “Ivy,” her first new music since 2020. After opening with sparse instrumentation, “Wolves of My Want” builds up to a beautiful combination of strings and piano as the musician born Aly Spaltro reminisces about childhood and ponders the mysteries of the universe. “Why do you always have me meet you in here/ You tell me like a secret, make me wanna keep it,” she sings. “Ah well yes, of course, I will find you again/ You’re so real to me I could reach out and snatch that apple from your hand.” Advertisement Related Video “Wolves of My Want” and “Ivy” mark Lady Lamb’s first n...

On the hard-hitting “Top Notch,” JT and Yung Miami confidently refute rumors and gossip. In an accompanying music video, City Girls rap outside of a corner store while surrounded by a crew dancing and hyping them up.
